Computer Usage Policy at Rapture Library

The City of Rapture considers unacceptable computer usage a criminal offense as enshrined by the laws created by Andrew Ryan. So that we can maintain harmony and peace within Rapture, please consider our Computer Usage Policy when using computers at the Rapture Library:

1.                Do not use computers for accessing offensive material such as anything of a religious nature. From the words of Andrew Ryan, “Liberty is our only law. A man's only duty is to himself. To imply otherwise, therefore, is criminal.”

2.                Never plagiarise information and always consider whether the material you want to use is in copyright. In Rapture, the ownership of one’s achievement and work are of utmost importance.

3.                Please refrain from using personal details such as address and bank details for your own safety. Anyone else who uses the computers might be able to record these details, for which we are not responsible for the consequences.

4.                Tampering with library computers, including attempting to install unauthorized software, disconnecting library computers or connecting private computers to the library’s network lines is prohibited.

5.                Personal Devices may be used to connect to the Rapture Library Wi-Fi network.
